Terms of Service

Last updated: May 13, 2026

The short version

ryanfrizelle.com is run by Ryan Frizelle, an individual based in Colorado, USA. By using the site, buying the course, or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Your account

You can create an account with your email or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. One person, one account. You cannot share your login with someone else so they can access paid content for free.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to make a purchase. By creating an account you confirm that.

What you are buying

When you purchase the Claude Code Course or any digital product on this site, you are buying a personal, non-transferable license to access that content for your own use. You may not redistribute it, resell it, post it publicly, or use it to train another product or model.

Course access does not expire as long as the course exists. If we ever sunset a product, we will give you advance notice and a way to download what you have access to.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe in US dollars. Prices are listed on the site and may change for new buyers at any time. Once you have purchased at a given price, that price is locked in for you.

Refund policy. If you are not happy with the course within 7 days of purchase, email ryan@ryanfrizelle.com and we will refund you in full. No forms, no hoops. After 7 days, all sales are final.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share, resell, or redistribute paid content.
  • Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the site or its content.
  • Use the site to harass other users, send spam, or break the law.
  • Attempt to bypass security, gain unauthorized access, or impersonate anyone.
  • Use the site or content to train an AI model.

If you violate this section, we may suspend or delete your account without refund.

Intellectual property

All content on the site, including videos, written lessons, code templates, guides, images, branding, and audio, is owned by Ryan Frizelle and protected by copyright. Your license to use it is personal and non-transferable.

Code shown in lessons may be used in your own projects, including commercial work, without attribution. The lessons themselves may not.

Third-party services

We rely on Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare Stream, ManyChat, Zernio, Resend, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity to run the site. By using the site you accept that these providers may process your data per our Privacy Policy.

No guarantees about outcomes

The course teaches you how to use Claude Code and ship software faster. It does not guarantee that you will make money, get a job, finish a project, or become a developer. Your results depend on the work you put in.

Educational content and your machine

The course is educational content. It is not personalized professional advice, and Ryan Frizelle is not your developer or sysadmin. Lessons walk you through commands, scripts, AI tools (including Claude Code), terminal aliases, and shell flags that you choose to run on your own computer.

You are responsible for what you run on your machine. Some of the tools and flags taught in the course, for example --dangerously-skip-permissions for Claude Code, intentionally remove safety prompts to speed up your workflow. They can also do real damage if you point them at the wrong folder or run them on a production system. Use your judgment, back up your work, and only enable them on machines and projects where you accept that risk.

If you do not accept that risk, do not run the command. Skipping a lesson is fine. Nothing in the course is required to execute.

Limitation of liability

The site and the course are provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, Ryan Frizelle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Total liability for any direct claim is capped at the amount you paid for the relevant product in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing ryan@ryanfrizelle.com. We can also close accounts that violate these terms. If we close your account for a violation, no refund is owed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

Changes to these terms

If we change the terms in any meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, email account holders. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version.
