The AI Content System for Creators (How I Pick What to Post)

The exact AI-powered content system I use to pick what to post every day. Competitor scraping, outlier scoring, personal context, and an idea generator that actually works.

# The AI Content System That Picks What I Post

Most creators are posting blind. They scroll, guess, hope something lands. I built a system where my AI tells me exactly what to post every single day based on what is actually working right now in my niche and what I am actually doing in my life. Here is the breakdown.

What This System Does For Me

Every morning I wake up to a dashboard with content ideas already scored, ranked, and ready to film. No more staring at a blank page wondering what to post. No more copying whatever went viral last week and hoping it works for me.

The system pulls from three places at once:

  1. What is working for the top people in my niche right now
  2. What is happening in my personal life and what I am building
  3. What I have already posted and what landed

Then it mashes all of that together and gives me ideas I can actually record in 20 minutes.

The 5 Pieces You Need

1. A Competitor Scraper

Pick 8 to 12 creators in your niche who are crushing it. Not the biggest accounts. The ones who are growing fastest right now. Then build something that pulls their new posts every single day across every platform they are on.

For each post, you want to capture the hook, the caption, the transcript if it is video, the view count, and the engagement. This is the raw material.

2. An Outlier Score

A post from an account with 10K followers that gets 500K views is way more interesting than a post from a 2M follower account getting 500K views. One is a viral breakout. The other is just Tuesday.

So every post gets a score based on how it performed compared to that creator's own average. Anything above a 3 is worth studying. Anything above a 10 is a format you should copy.

3. A Personal Context Layer

This is the part almost nobody does and it is the whole unlock. Your AI should know what you are actually working on. What you built yesterday. What problems you solved this week. What you care about right now.

I have a personal life dashboard where I dump what I am doing each day. My AI reads from it when it generates ideas. That way the content it suggests is stuff I can actually talk about because I just lived it.

4. An Idea Generator

This is the layer that puts it all together. It takes the top outlier posts from your competitors, maps the patterns (hook style, structure, topic), then cross references what you are working on and spits out 5 to 7 ideas you can film today.

Each idea comes with a hook, a caption, a structure, and a reason why it should work. You just pick the one you feel like talking about.

5. A Simple Approval Flow

You do not want to be editing spreadsheets or jumping between tools. Your AI should post ideas to a dashboard where you can approve, edit, or decline with one click. Declines feed back into the system so it learns your taste over time.

How To Build This (Without Being A Developer)

You do not need to code this yourself. You direct an AI to build it for you. Here is the order I would build it in if I were starting today:

  1. Start with the scraper for one platform. Instagram or YouTube. Get that working first.
  2. Add the outlier score on top of the scraped data.
  3. Build the personal context layer. Even a simple daily journal works.
  4. Wire it all into an idea generator that outputs to a dashboard.
  5. Add more platforms once the first one is humming.

The tools you will need are straightforward. A database, a scraper service like Apify, an AI model with good context (Claude works great), and a simple dashboard. Claude Code can build all of this for you if you describe it clearly.

Why This Wins

While everyone else is guessing, you are picking from pre-scored ideas that are proven to work. You are not copying anyone. You are taking patterns that are working and filtering them through what you are actually doing so it sounds like you.

This is the difference between posting because you have to and posting because you have something to say. The system handles the first part. You focus on being yourself on camera.
