Getting Started with Claude Code

Prerequisites

  • A computer running macOS, Linux, or Windows (WSL)

  • A terminal application

  • A GitHub account
  • Step 1: Install Claude Code

Open your terminal and run the installation command. Claude Code runs as a CLI tool that connects to Claude's API.

    Step 2: Set Up GitHub

Configure SSH keys for secure repository access. This enables Claude Code to manage your code through git.

Step 3: Create a Supabase Project

Supabase gives you a Postgres database, authentication, and storage — all free to start.

    Step 4: Deploy on Vercel

Connect your GitHub repo to Vercel for automatic deployments on every push.
